Barcelona’s famous Picasso museum with its colourful exhibits is an easy choice of gallery with kids and popular for school projects. Pick up postcards and books of the artist’s most famous paintings.
The museum houses a large permanent exhibition that includes Picasso’s childhood sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs and a biography of the artist.
Open: Tues. to Sun. from 9am – 7pm and with late closing Thurs-Sat at 9.30pm. Guided tours in English on Sundays at 11am (except August). Open days on February 12th, 18th May and 24th September.
