Visit the world-famous Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and experience the magnificent views from the top.
Under construction since 1882, Gaudi’s most famous project is now only a decade or so away from completion. The Sagrada Familia continues to be built through interpretation of the architect’s planned work.
The Catholic Basilica was consecrated by the Pope during his Barcelona visit in 2010. At the museum you can see models, photographs and plans as well as model-makers themselves at work, restoring and reproducing from Gaudi’s originals.
When the church is finished it will have eighteen towers: twelve dedicated to the apostles, four to the evangelists, one to Jesus and another to Mary.
With kids, you can also take a 50 minute guided tour or rely on an audio-guides (available for 12 years old and over) to keep the visit entertaining.
Open: 9am-6pm from Oct to Mar; 9am-8pm from Apr to Sep.
Price: Tickets from €15.50. Extra for tower visits and panoramic views.
