The summertime festivals continue with the Festa de Sants this week.  The neighbourhood celebrates its annual Festa Major with activities for all ages with foam fights, water wars and entertainment for kids.  The alternative festival also features live music and events in the Parc de l'Espanya Industrial.

Schooling in Catalunya is free and compulsory for children aged 6-16 years.  Primary education (educació primària) is the first stage of obligatory schooling for children aged 6-12 years and Secondary education (educació secundària) is the period of schooling from 12-16 years.
