
Still under construction since 1882, this world famous Gaudi project continues to be built through interpretation of the architect's planned work.
4 belfries are yet to be built including a 170m central dome. The Sagrada Familia is a Catholic Basilica consecrated by the Pope in 2010. There are magnificient views from the top. At the museum you can see models, photographs and plans as well as model-makers themselves at work, restoring and reproducing from Gaudi's originals. When the church is finished it will have 18 towers: 12 dedicated to the apostles, 4 to the evangelists, 1 to Jesus and another to Mary. This is a unique and world-famous place which you should not leave Barcelona without taking some time to visit.
