The main focus is on a billingual education.  The school overlooks the city from a hillside in Pedralbes.  Spanish and Catalan are introduced at primary level and later French and German.  Lots of after-school sports activities. Situated in the Valles Oriental and accesible from Maresme, Vic and Barcelona, the school offers an international curriculum based both upon the English National curriculum and the Primary Years Programme from the IB programme.  Currently only a primary and junior school education is available (until 12 years) although a secondary school is planned for 2013.  This small school is undergoing steady growth which will eventually include satellite campuses in the Barcelona area. Class sizes are limited to 18 children.l After school English courses are also available for non-pupils aged 3-12 years.

John Talabot is a Trilingual school with emphasis on the English language. The school has only one class per year group and teaches children from pre-school age 3 years up to school leaving at age 18. The John Talabot school receives a grant from the Catalan government and has many local pupils. It also runs an English speaking summer day camp in July.

This international school forms part of the family of schools, “San Estanislau de Kostka,” better known as SEK.  All SEK establishments benefit from well-equipped buildings and grounds in attractive areas of Spain, Dublin and the French Alps.  In Spain, the schools are best known for their quality of the education,  academic results and for the values acquired by students. They also maintain an international outlook and are an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.
