Children's Playgrounds in Barcelona

As well as parks every neighbourhood has its smaller children's playgrounds or "jardins infantils" with space for kids to run around, slides, rocking horses and swings. In this section are some lesser known parks and play areas some of which have been recommended by other parents

Jardins Interiors d'illa

As part of an historic city project to provide leisure space for Barcelona residents, there are several children's playgrounds accessible to the public hidden away within residential blocks. These play areas are part of the Cerda project and are generally scattered around the Eixample district.  They typically have an enclosed play area and benches, open until dusk and offer a safe zone for kids to play away from the city traffic.

Access from Manso, 28 (next to Goethe Insitute) & Calabria/Parlament
Spacious, recently renovated area with swings, slide, climbing frame, table tennis and large sand pit.

Gran Via, 657 (nr. Tetuan)
Playground, lots of seating,  trees and palms.
