The Barcelona Card
The Barcelona card offers you free unlimited transport and discounted admissions for various cultural centres and attractions in the city. It is a great option if you plan to stay for a couple of days or more and many of the discounts and free admissions are for family activities.
Unlimited Transport
The Barcelona Card is available from tourist offices and helps visitors to the city avoid the complication of buying different tickets for using public transport. Barcelona has very efficient Metro (underground) and bus systems and is a city that you can manageably visit by using public transport. The card also allows you to use the tram system and the train to and from Barcelona airport (as well as a 20% discount on the Aerobus Airport express bus).

Free admission to 16 museums and discounted entry to 26 others (incl. the Picasso museum and the Sagrada Familia.
Activities and Attractions

Science Museum Pass
This pass, introduced in 2007 to highlight the Year of Science, is now set to continue permanently. It allows you to visit all of the following Barcelona museums and centres for a single €18.50 ticket:

Library Card
Becoming a library member offers you a surprising amount of discounts on admissions to various family attractions throughout the city. Check beforehand for times and conditions for exhibitions but your library card can offer you:
10% discount to Barcelona Zoo and the Aquarium

Super 3 Card
The Super 3 club cards are available for children ages 0-7 yrs and 8-14 yrs. Children using the card must always be accompanied by and adult. The Super 3 Card is sponsored by Catalan Television and you can pick up an application leaflet from La Caixa bank branches. They are useful for residents as they give discounted and free entry to a vast amount of ongoing activities i.e museums, tourist bus, shows, sports and muscial events.
