Fun Running
The summer is coming so we all want to get in shape.
Active-8, personal training company, organises a weekly run for fun
class, ideal for newcomers and people that want to meet others.
Fun and Fitness is a free activity guided by one of their
professional personal trainers and a perfect way to get or stay in
shape. Groups meet every wednesday at 20.00 at Hotel Arts (in front of
the casino between the two towers).
The run is for about 45 min at a very moderate pace alongside the beach
(not in the sand). Ideal for beginners to get fit and sportsmen get the
chance to recover from previous training. Afterwards there is time to
cool down and stretch. For people that want to do more, there is another
30 minute run afterwards. This means that you can also come along at 9pm to the same venue for a 30. minute run.

Child Group Project in Poble Nou
We are a group of families with similar concerns about caring for our little ones and are interested in trying to start a new project. We are beginning to organize the possibility of getting together in the mornings in a big space and collaborate in creating activities for them like games, outings, eating, etc....
The idea is to create a platform where we can care for our children and feel supported by other families, with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of each family. There would be no limit regarding the age of the children as we believe that it is very enriching for children of all age groups to share their games and experiences together.
In order to make this project happen it is necessary for the parents who are interested to become a part of the collective and take turns offering activities and meals. We already have the space available to begin this project in Poble Nou, and we will take care of whatever would be needed for the activities and meals.
We are looking for families who are interested in creating and organizing this group. If you don't want to send you children to day care and would like to share your time and experiences with other families, join us in participating and developing this alternative to children's day care activities.
