World Theatre Day

20 Mar 2008

Centre Civc Cotxeres Borrell is marking this year's World Theatre Day, on March 27th, with an evening long event of workshops and family entertainment. As well as theatre, dance and clown entertainment, visual arts entertainer, Gromic will be adding his own special blend of humour, magic and comedy to the evening.

"You might mistakenly think from my behaviour that I have an agressive streak to my personality", says Gromic. "Actually, I am as gentle as they come and I think that children, especially, can see that".

Gromic's creator, Belgian Michael Gueulette, once entertained tourists on the streets of Torremolinos and has since appeared in several major shows including Barcelona's International Clown Festival and the city's Marato del Espectacle.

"Visual comedylike this is unique in that it appeals to all types of audience, across cultures, language barriers and generations." adds Gromic.  "I recently gave a performance in Cornellà de Llobregat  to an audience of children and, despite Gromic's rather intense nature, one mother wrote afterwards to say how much even the 4 year olds loved the show".

Gromic may be hired for private events.
