Hello all!

I am looking for a nursery (for my 3 yr old) around Plaza de Espana who preferably teach a little English and is open all summer.

Any ideas?

i too am looking for somewhere for my son for summer, especially for the first 2 weeks in august whne it seems theres nothing!! leons bressol nursery seems to have something from beg july to 15th (until 3pm) then at portal nou in el born until the 28th july...and then thats it!

there is always the multinational creche CIGRONET D'OR (932 469 463) at 445 consell de cent which i will have as a back up (normally open all summer with kids of all ages) but its sadly an indoor space!.

a friend of mine would love to set up a situation whereby for example 5 mums go to the parc cuitadella or a hired space and then 2-3 mums go off and do things for a few hours while 2-3 mums watch the littluns playing, bring picnic foods, then they share the 'watching over them' and going off for study/classes/haircut or just few hours peace n quiet ...on a daily / thricely basis. i think its a great idea.

if anyone else knows anywhere central where theyre open in AUGUST please let me know.

P.S Has anyone heard of the trilingual nursery SINFONIE near to maremagnum???

It is not exactly a nursery but there is a Casal Estiu - Summer camp for children near the Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona in August. It is at the CEIP - infants school.

It runs daily from 9am - 6pm for children ages 3-12 year and costs around 98 euros a week with food. It is one of the public summer camp offerings and has around 100 places in total. There are not that many in August. This is one of the few options.

You probably have to apply from the 10th may as you do with most of the summer camps.
