Dog-Cat-Snake-Mountain is the intriguing name for a fun new kids' class in Barcelona.  Creative, enjoyable and stimulating yoga lessons for kids aged from 4-7 years (and mature 3’s) are now being held every week at YogaSana in Gràcia.  The centre also runs courses for adults, pregnancy and babies. Scamp productions are opening, The Hippo´s Dream, this weekend a the Riereta Teatre in Barcelona. The fun-filled theatrical spectacle is in English and recommended for children of 3 years and over. Games Month at el Poble Espanyol
World Play Day, on May 28th, highlights the need for play in children's lives. A basic childhood right which is often unavailable in many places around the world. On Sundays in May, el Poble Espanyol will be holding a game-making workshop and entertaining kids with a family show. On the 24th of May, the major event is the Festa del Joc, Games Day. Around 80 games and activities will be available throughout the event.  Apple bobbing and sack races, water pistols, balance games, tricycles, pretend kitchens, toy shops and carparks are just a few of some of the fun games for kids off all ages to enjoy...see details

Children's Party in Sitges
The Terramar Hotel in Sitges will be hosting an exciting kids' party this Friday 1st May from 10am – 1pm with music, activities, roaming photographers, party games, arts and crafts and even a special guest appearancefrom Kung Fu Panda himself...see details

The 16th annual BioCultura fair and MamaTerra children's festival comes to Barcelona on May 7th. With over 700 companies exhibiting children's goods, fair trade and organic produce, this is a chance to see an alternative side to consumerism in Spain.  This is the country's main ecological fair and, as with last year, Kids in Barcelona has free tickets to give away to subscribers. May Festival in Badalona
The Festes de Maig are a month of cultural activities and entertainment in the 34 barrios that make up the Barcelona suburb of Badalona. The festival marks the beginnng of Summer with much centred outdoors in the Parc de Ca l’Arnús.
