Summer Activities for Children in Barcelona
Barcelona offers a variety of summer camp options for children
throughout the summer holidays with a few camps running during the
month of August. This year, you can apply for a place at a public
summer camp
from the 9th May. There are 100,000 places at these camps and you can
already see the list of possibilities available online. Schools and

Free Entry to Barcelona Museums
From
5th April 2009, Barcelona's public museums have opened their doors for
free on Sunday afternoons. The new admission policy is an extension to
the free entry which takes place on the first Sunday of every month.
Admission to participating museums is now free of charge to the public
from 3pm to 8pm every Sunday. Many of the city's museums offer
incentives either via family cards or multi-passes such as the Science
Museum Pass, the Articket and Arqueo ticket that offer access to
several centres. Regular discounts are also offered to Barcelona

Fira Per la Terra - Earth Day Festival
The 14th "Fira Per La Terra", Earth Day Festival is celebrated this weekend with

Children's Theatre
With
most children's theatre programming coming to an end next month, now is
the time to take the children along to one of the many family shows
that Barcelona has on offer. On Saturdays and Sundays during April,
the Barcelona theatre, Tantarantana, is offering discounted tickets to Kids in Barcelona visitors for their current performance, La Pruna i La lluna.
The production is recommended for young children and is a performance
