For younger children, there is a last chance to see Ambulants this weekend at the Fundació Joan Miró. In this theatrical production aimed at primary school kids, two ambulance men relate their incredible journeys and adventures from around the world. Look Books! - Children's Theatre
Mirad Libros! is a family show aimed at 6 year olds and over that combines the arts of shadow puppetry, puppetry, comedy and drama and that inspires an interest in books among children. This 50 minute long production tells the story of some children who sneak into a building where the discover boxes of books.
When the caretaker finds them, they are obliged to unlock the secrets and stories in these books before being allowed to leave...see details

New Sessions at the Playhouse Pre-School
playhouse.jpgThe Playhouse in Gracia is now offering even more flexible daycare options for pre-school kids. From September, parents can opt for short, 2 hour 45 minute sessions of 2-3 mornings or afternoons. The child-centred play-based group operates in both English and Catalan with places for children aged 18 months and upwards. Parents of older children from 2.5-3/4 years (P3 age) who will not yet be placing their children in school, will also be pleased to hear that there will be sessions next year for this age group.
