Open Day at the Sagrada Familia
Every June, to coincide with the death of its designer, Antoni Gaudí, the Sagrada Familia allows visitors to enter for free in order to view the progress made in the construction work year on year.
This Saturday, June 7th, you can see the beautiful coloured glass additions to the temple plus visit the very centre of this amazing feat of architecture. Another great new feature is the giant screens showing 3D images of how the Sagrada Familla will look once completed.
During the Open Day, visitors will be able to view areas of the temple that are not open to the public at other times of the year.

Science Day in the Park
La Festa de la Ciència celebrates its second year in the Parc de la Ciutadella with more than 70 different scientific activities related to the environment and the earth etc. This is a 2 day festival in which all the family can participate.
Among the many different activities offered are workshops and demonstrations plus shows, entertainment and optical illusions. You can also learn how to perform DNA testing at home.
Saturday 7th June, 11am to midnight. Sunday 8th June, 11am to 3pm.

Flea Market at the American School of Barcelona

Open Day at Xantala Nursery
Xantala are holding an open registration day. This Espai Infantil y Familiar offers alternative education for children ages 1-6 years old. Small groups help faciliate responsiveness to the individual needs of every child with a maximum of 4 to 5 children per teacher. Progressive adaptations and guidance are offered to families. The focus is on active and child-centered education where children may choose between different materials and equipment, learning respect in an environment of harmony.
